For
10 years I have been involved in the Telecommunications
industry working as a National Manager
for a leading directory assistance company.
In 2006 I moved on to work as Director
of Operations for a software development
company managing both local and offshore
operations. Jon followed a similar career,
but in 2003 decided to work for himself
and established "CurbLine"
a landscape concrete curb company. We
have 3 beautiful girls who are as crazy
about birds as I am.
I
have been raising silkies off and on since
1992. In early 2006 I decided to breed
to APA standards as well as show. This
has been one of my favorite hobbies! Jon
also decided to breed bantam Leghorn in
the blue/splash variety.
We
have horses for our own riding pleasure.
Jon used to Team Pen for a living and
retired in 1997 after achieving the "World
T.P. National Champion" title. Now
it is a fun hobby. Jon also trains horses
in his spare time.
We
have 4 fantastic & beautiful horses.
"Tita" is a P.R.E. Andalusian
yearling. "Cielo" is an S.P.
Andalusian filly. "Decor" is
our retired champion Team Penning Quarter
horse. And of course "Sugar Baby"
who is better know as "Pepper"
:)
We have 3 wonderful dogs. "Roman",
"Alexander the Great Dane",
and "Fabio" Cocker Spaniel.
R.I.P. "Alexander the Great Dane."
And of course, let's not forget Annie
and her kids. (Director of Rodent Control).
Our
other family members are a variety of
standard hens who are in charge of weed
management and bug control. :) and every
so often we are blessed with delicious
"free range" eggs from the girls.
